What to expect from your time with us:
Step 1

Intake

It’s all personal from the first moment you begin your intensive outpatient treatment program in Northbrook, IL. We assess your needs and goals, building an ASAM-compatible care plan that honors where you are and where you’re going. During this phase, you will be assigned a primary therapist and case manager who will support you with various treatment modalities including CBD, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Step 2

Treatment

You’ll join us at the facility for treatment 3 to 5 days per week at a set shift – either 9AM to 12PM or 6PM to 9PM, depending on your preference. As you work with us, your case manager will coordinate with court systems, other providers, and any other service you need to stay sober.
Step 3

Transition

After working through your personal recovery program, you’ll reach a point where your treatment can be stepped down to the next level of care, General Outpatient (OP).
Step 4

Maintenance

Life happens, and we’re here for all of it. Because we know recovery is not linear, we invite you to reach out to your case manager if you feel you need to adjust your level of care.

What is the success rate of an IOP?

According to an outpatient study published in 2015, IOPs are an integral part of the continual recovery process of a person struggling with substance use disorder. One of the best parts of IOPs is that they last longer compared to inpatient treatment, and you’re able to practice the new, healthy habits you’re learning at home.

What’s the difference between an IOP and PHP?
